How do I opt out of overdraft protection?

Log into your account at GO2bank.com or via the GO2bank app. In general, your opt out request will be effective immediately, and we will send you an email to confirm your opt out request. However, any pending purchase transactions authorized prior to opting out that overdraw your account may still take the account below $0 and result in a $15 overdraft fee.

There are two ways to opt out of overdraft protection once eligible - the GO2bank app or GO2bank.com
1) GO2bank app
– Log into your account
– Tap Overdraft Protection on the home screen
– Tap the three dots "..." in the upper right corner
– Tap Opt Out of Overdraft Protection
– Tap Opt Out

Or

2) GO2bank.com
– Log into your account
– Select the Overdraft Protection tab in the top navigation on the home screen
– Select the 3 dots "..." in the upper right corner
– Select Opt Out of Overdraft Protection
– Select Opt Out

Note, when you opt out of overdraft protection, any purchase transactions authorized prior to opting out that overdraw your account may still result in a $15 fee.
